I Was Just Thinking About . . . how many people of the Christian Faiths are still finding favorable acceptance of the programs and agendas of the current Administration in Washington and their proposed legislation; despite the fact that they can see that many of these policies favor Pro-Choice attitudes which are forcing all Americans to fund Abortion. And not only here in the United States, but our tax dollars are funding these programs as well as sterilization procedures in other countries as well. That issue alone, should be the determining factor for all Christians, in finding disfavor with this crowd in Washington.
But if that isn’t quite enough? Hate Crime legislation is being disguised in a Defense Funding Bill that will be voted on this week. The Hate Crime bill, besides infringing on so many other of the provisions in our Constitution, will jeopardize the future of the Church and their organizations from speaking from the pulpit or in the classrooms about any Scripture in the Bible that questions or examines such issues as Gay Marriage or Homosexual Relationships, without the fear of criminal prosecution.
Politics as usual, but Obama pledged transparency and that these type of tactics which he so openly criticized the former Administration of doing, is something that he and Congress are making a common practice of.
There are more than 15 million people unemployed in this country who have lost their jobs and the unemployment rate is still teetering around the 10% mark. But Washington says the economy is on the recovery but more of us should realize the economy will not recover until people can get back to work, and businesses can be profitable. There is nothing wrong with profit - it is the profitability of business and industry that employs workers, uses sub-contractors and material suppliers, or vendors, who all in turn will employ more people. And this only enhances the “trickle down” effect to so many other businesses again who will in turn be profitable and hire more workers. And of course, all of those people working will realize a greater opulence and control over their own life. Our economy is based on profit and hence - your prosperity as well.
But yet, as I talk to many out in the world, I am amazed as to how many people out there are still so ill informed of the real issues in our economy and our Nation. You should not rely on just the main stream news media anymore because there is an obvious prejudiced approach to there reporting. It is imperative to all Americans to dig deep into the domestic, as well as the international news blogs and informational links to get a more biased accurate information as to what is really going down in our Country right now.
There is no excuse for ignorance and if you have the ability to read and learn but simply do not, you will allow yourself to be led like cows, to the slaughter.
Continuing to blame a former Administration for the woes of this country while you yourself, as an Administration only duplicate or triplicate and possibly quadruple procedures or errors which past Administrations may have made, are totally ludicrous, absurd, and irresponsible actions of a Government.
We all expected a new Administration to make our economy healthy - not add to its dilemma. We really didn’t need “Change you can believe in,” but ” Change that matters” and change that makes Life better!
Washington: Quit blaming others over your inherited 3 Trillion Dollar Deficit from President Bush, but in the same breath, turn around a propose Programs and Legislation which experts predict will Quadruple that easily by the year 2016!
President Obama: and all you elected officials in our Senate and the House of Representatives - Start representing us - Your constituents - Not your Private Political Agendas and Special Interest Groups. You have it “Bass Ackwards” Washington - Government is here to SERVE THE PEOPLE - Not the other way around!
